very professional and caring staff, good food , honest and trustworthy and got me up and about as soon as i was able .
I came for a MRI scan. What can I say but it was excellent and all the staff efficient and friendly.
Bushey Spire has been immaculately clean on both occasions I have visited recently. The staff have been very welcoming and helpful and thoroughly professional. Very good experience all round
My care was under my consultant. The hospital provided the facilities and post operation care, but did not have the specialist post-operation support for my conditions. I was treated very well and staff were very nice and catering service was good.
The nurses I saw during my stay were assistant nurses, they were very busy and had little time to talk. There was a progress notice board on the wall for communication with patient (i.e. me), but was not filled in; the nurses were too busy. Some equipment, like the fridge and light switch, did not work. On discharge, I found that some of the information on the discharge note is not correct. I feel that more senior nurses, like the sister, should check with the patient at least once a day.
Otherwise, a pleasant hospital.
I had a biopsy at very short notice by Dr. Kuma and was given great care and attention at a busy time along with other patients.
I was taken on-board as a day-patient (morning in/afternoon out). Great choice on the light menu, all fresh. Staff very polite and accommodating. Front desk insanely helpful going an extra mile for me which was a super big bonus. I cannot thank them enough.
There's only one thing that could be improved in my opinion. As you never know what time is the surgery (early morning, noon, afternoon, evening) you don't know what to plan for. I was the lucky one being taken to the operating room early in the morning, therefore, I was provided with a nice brunch right after the surgery. I wasn't able to get back home until early evening so had to stay in the hospital slowly getting hungrier and hungrier. You'd expect, a situation like this could be easily planned for and I should have taken some snacks to look after myself, but the truth is when you're expecting a surgery, the stress takes over, and planning tends to fail. I'd expect the hospital to offer me at least a paid-for lunch/supper menu but it wasn't an option despite being a private patient. I think, if properly planned, it could add A LOT to the overall experience.
One more thing. Nursing. A bit less on their shoulders could improve the experience as well, as it felt like they had always something else to do and were rushing through the procedures and questions needing to go and check another patient/paperwork so I felt uncomfortable asking them (my nurse) any questions. It could have been only me, as I have never been to a hospital before, but may be worth mentioning.
Easy access, very helpful and polite stuff. Clean, good organized hospital, not perfect but perfection is hard to reach specially where a group of people are involved in working together and understanding priorities in the same way. Overall really good and definitely recommend this hospital.
Nice environment to be seen in, clinically clean and all staff friendly and approachable
Dr Thakur was great at listening and addressing our concerns; coupled with this she was very personable and displayed a genuinely caring nature.
Very nice relaxed hospital. Well trained staff and professionals run the place
